LEAKING ALL OVER
Grace Choi had just bought a new car with a sun roof when her troubles started. The first time it rained, she noticed that the sun roof leaked. The water came in all around the glass and dripped onto the front seats. So she took the car back to the dealership, and they "fixed" the sun roof.
The next time it rained, the leak was even worse, so she concluded that the dealer had not fixed the sun roof. This problem caused her aggravation over the next three months. Grace took her car to the dealer four times to have the sun roof repaired. She kept written records of what happened on each occasion. Finally, the Texas Department of Transportation (TexDOT) told the dealer that its responsibility was to replace the car or refund Grace's money. She said she would prefer to own a car without a sun roof!

THE PERFECT CAR
I found the perfect car at a used car dealer last month. It was a bright red sedan with low mileage. As soon as I saw it, I called my brother, who is a mechanic. He met me an hour later to look at the car. First, he checked body of the car. He noticed a dent on the left side, but there wasn't any rust. So my brother said it wasn't a problem. He said the engine was in great shape for the number of miles on the car. Next, he looked at the price. We both thought it was reasonable. Then he checked the car's vehicle identification number on the Internet to see if it had ever been in an accident. It hadn't. Finally, I asked my brother if I should buy the car. He said no--because it was too red! I didn't listen to him. I bought the car and I drive it every day. I would rather own a red car than any other color car!

The waiting room was very comfortable with soft lighting and comfortable chairs. They called me into the examination room after only 15 minutes. My throat was very painful and I was nervous, but both Dr. Gaynor and the room put me at ease. The room was painted bright yellow, and there were paintings of  flowers on the walls. The doctor felt my neck gently and looked into my throat with an instrument, but it didn't hurt. Throughout the examination, I listened to the classical music coming through speakers in the ceiling, and I felt calm.
